Proposed ideas
A level in which you can't hop on heads to defeat anything, only bait them into traps ( the level would either be really small, or bouncing off of heads does nothing, enemies will also be colored differently)
implement some sort of air dash
I found some gun prefabs as well as a script for them, i will implement that somewhere
put secrets around the map purely for random jokes or entertainment

Your proposed modifications sound okay, just be sure to properly credit where you get the prefabs/scripts from and describe any edits you had to make to them for your own project.
